Terms of Service

Welcome to Desperado Daddy. By accessing or purchasing from our store, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These policies apply to all customers and all orders placed through our website. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

Desperado Daddy is a small, one-person operation. Every order truly matters, and your support means the world to us.

Orders & Processing

All orders are made to order unless otherwise stated.

  • Orders require a minimum of 2 business days for processing.

  • Processing may take up to 5 business days, though most orders are completed sooner.

  • Once an order has been fulfilled and a tracking number issued, it is considered shipped and cannot be changed or canceled.

If you need an order by a specific date:

  • Add a note at checkout

  • Select Priority Mail (paid shipping)
    Promo codes apply to ground shipping only and should not be used if faster delivery is required.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other factors outside of our control, and refunds will not be issued for late arrivals.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

  • Once a tracking number has been issued, shipping addresses cannot be changed.

Return Window

Returns must be initiated within 5 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unaltered

  • All original tags must be attached

We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration.

Returns initiated after the 5-day window will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost or undelivered return packages.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are issued within 5–7 business days

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, including those covered by promo codes or free shipping offers

  • Shipping costs will be deducted from any refund

Refunds are only issued if returned items meet all policy requirements.

Exchanges

Exchanges are available only if the order has not yet shipped (no tracking number issued).

Once an order has shipped, exchanges are not available.

All vintage items are final sale and cannot be exchanged.

Vintage Items – Final Sale

All vintage items are sold as-is and are final sale.

Due to the one-of-a-kind and pre-owned nature of vintage goods:

  • No refunds

  • No returns

  • No exchanges

Please review all product descriptions and photos carefully before purchasing vintage items.

Return to Sender Policy

If an order is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Failed delivery attempt

  • Unclaimed package

We are not responsible for reshipping costs or issuing refunds.

  • Refunds will not be issued for return-to-sender packages

  • Orders may be reshipped once the customer pays additional shipping costs

  • No refunds will be given for returns caused by circumstances outside of our control

International Orders – Taxes & Duties

International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and additional fees imposed by the destination country.

  • These charges are not included in product prices or shipping costs

  • Desperado Daddy does not cover these fees

  • Customers are responsible for paying all applicable charges upon delivery

No refunds will be issued for non-delivery due to unpaid import taxes, customs duties, or fees.

Canadian Orders – Duties & Import Fees

Orders shipped to Canada may be subject to:

  • Import duties

  • Taxes

  • Brokerage fees charged by CBSA or the carrier

These fees:

  • Are not included in your purchase price or shipping cost

  • Must be paid by the recipient upon delivery

If duties or taxes are refused or unpaid:

  • The package may be returned or disposed of by customs

  • Return shipping and carrier fees may be deducted from any refund

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Refunds are only issued once items are returned in original condition

We cannot control, predict, or waive Canadian import charges. For estimates, please contact CBSA or your local carrier prior to ordering.

Holiday Shipping Policy

Desperado Daddy does not ship orders on holidays or bank holidays. If your order is placed or scheduled to ship on one of these days, please expect an additional two (2) business days added to the processing or shipping timeline.

We appreciate your patience and support of our small business.

Holiday Return Policy (December 1 – January 1)

To keep our small, one-man operation running smoothly during the holiday season:

  • All purchases made between December 1 and January 1 are final sale

  • No returns or exchanges are accepted during this period

Our hats are produced in limited quantities and often feature novelty or moment-specific designs, which historically are difficult to resell once worn.

We encourage you to review product details carefully and reach out with any questions before ordering—we’re always happy to help you choose the right hat before it ships.
